Only 2 weeks away!

At this time, Monday June 1 we will be well on our way to an exciting journey with God to the land of the Dominican Republic. How good is God? It’s cool even just looking back a few weeks when I didn’t know very many of you guys at all and now I feel as though we’re getting into a rhythm and finding out how to serve and love one another. My quiet times have been in 2 Corinthians and it’s been amazing to see how much joy Paul takes in telling of how the believers supported and encouraged one another, and how the believers in Macedonia even though they had nothing gave beyond their ability to bless those in Corinth. I want us to be that way! I want our service to come out of our emptiness so that it’s God working through us. I want us to learn to love not because it makes us feel good to serve, but out of the depth of love God has poured out upon us. I am also reading Desiring God by John Piper and reall REALLY loving it. Looking forward to sharing more with you guys later.

Tek bir şey yazmak istedim…… yani Tanrı’nın egemeliğini çok düşünüyordum ve her yapacağim şey Onun ellerinde bırakmak isterim. Ben onu tanıdığımdan minnettarım çünkü bana gelip beni seçti…… hiç bir şey yapamadım. Bunun için- her şey için onu bütün kalbimle bütün gücümle bütün yaşımla övmek isterim çünkü tek bir layık olan vardır.
